PETERSBURG, Va. June 4, 2009:
BandyWorks LLC announced today that Bose Thirumalai has been promoted to integration architect. In his new position, he is responsible for the technologies used to develop the company’s service-oriented architecture for its web-based software applications.

Thirumalai joined BandyWorks in early 2008 as senior developer. He has more than six years of experience in web-based application development in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, banking, logistics and science. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional in Developing Web Applications with C# and ASP.NET, and is an expert in integration technologies including SOAP, XML, WSDL and DCOM.

“Bose has been instrumental in our ability to provide our clients with applications that integrate their existing systems with newer technologies to improve efficiencies, provide better customer service, and gain competitive advantage,” said Tom Bandy, BandyWorks owner and general manager. “He will be a great asset to our clients in his new role as integration architect because of his experience and talent in integrating legacy systems with new web-based application technologies.”

Thirumalai holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Madras in Chennai, India, and a Master of Computer Application degree, also from the University of Madras. He and his family are residents of Colonial Heights.
